Story Line
Primarily project was meant to expose Menwar as an artist who creates sounds from crossbreeding different kinds of instruments. However due to time constraints we have shifted our focus on the "crossbreeding" aspect, thus the title "Metissaz".

General Themes
guess i've been preocupied since as long as i know about politics messing up with culture and ending up creating a lot of confusion and racial dead end for the people, and of course the more frightening is the fact that even the younger generation dont seem to make any effort of thinking, they just go and repeat the same bullshit and it has always hurt and shock me on a very personal level to see that the kids of my own generation can be so prejudiced even when they have access to education. Its so obvious to see on the campus that the students are divided in terms of racial groups, bent on perpetuating the racial prejudices of their elders instead of crossing their made up mental bridges. so it really means something to me to work on miscegeneration in mauritius

Menwar is definitely a big inspiration for this project based on his skill of having invented new sounds from the different types of existing music and musical instruments. Video also features Valérie Médard, a mauritian who does Indian Classical Dance.
